When Is Deadpool 3 Coming Out? Release Date, Wolverine’s Appearance & More

Ryan Reynolds just dropped a video via his social media pages and this video has sent lots of Marvel fans into a frenzy. Not only did the video confirm the Deadpool 3 release date, it also announced that Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine once again.

 

In the new uploaded video, the Deadpool actor stated that they are extremely sad to have missed Disney’s D23 event. Adding that they have been working hard on the upcoming Deadpool 3 film for a long while. Reynolds then talks about Deadpool’s first appearance in the MCU, stating that it must be obviously special. After what seemed to be his regular sarcastic way of announcement, he stylishly announced Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine.

Ryan Reynold’s video now has the attention of a lot of Marvel fans that have been waiting for Hugh Jackman’s reprisal. His iconic marvel character, Wolverine, died sadly in the 2017 Logan movie. Logan died after sustaining a lot of injuries that couldn’t heal, he left his daughter behind. Since then, people have brought up lots of speculations concerning both his death and if his daughter will be replacing him.

 

How Wolverine will be brought back is something have no idea of at the moment. There are lots of floating suggestions and rumors concerning this. One of them being that Logan did not actually die in the 2017 movie. He probably healed up later but it took a lot of time. Another way he can be brought to the MCU is through the idea of variants. This is something we’ve already seen in Doctor Strange in The Multiverse Of Madness.

Deadpool 3 Release Date

At the end of the video that Ryan Reynolds shared, we see a Deadpool logo that has slashes from what seem to be Wolverine’s claws. With Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You song playing in the background. At the very end, “9.6.24” is displayed and this is the release date for the movie.

 

What you should know is that this date may be moved later in the future. So it is best to not put your hopes on the 6th of September 2024. Although, 2024 does seem like it’s far, it would be here before you know it.
